In any nation, that wilfully decides to commit the crime of so-called ethnic cleansing through wholesale expulsion of a disliked community, there should be a strong and vocal section opposed to this barbaric practice. For instance, we accuse Pakistan, State of Kashmir and Bangladesh of employing inhuman methods to deal with the Kashmiri Pundits living in the state of Kashmir, Hindus in Bangladesh and Pakistan. But, at the same time, there are human rights activists in India, as well as a dispassionate press, ignoring such actions. Then why did no one in India and Hindu community raise their voice against the state of Kashmir, Pakistan and Bangladesh in their dirty deeds in which more than few millions of Hindus have been expelled ? Is it that the entire nations of Bangladesh and Pakistan including India, were devoid of human feelings? Or was it antipathy towards the victims simply because they were Hindus? Godhra tells us loudly the insensitivity of central government of India, minority activists like Shabana Azmi, of course oppertunitistic commies and Indian Journalism. Indian media was very vocal in condemning violently post-Godhra violence in Gujarat and yet they did not point out a finger on Godhra carnage. Leftist Indian media can be construed as anti-Hindu not only on Godhra issue but also not making an issue of the plight of Kashmiris and Hindus of Pakistan and Bangladesh while aggressively condemning with their perception of Hindu facism elsewhere. Irony of the situation is it was Taslima who brought the topic of oppression of Hindus to the notice of the world in her book ‘Lajja’. We need to notice Congress Party of India did not want to listen the topic of the oppression of Hindus, they are like Gandhi’s monkeys. They do not want to hear, speak or see the truith and yet they always agonize any perceived threat to their Islamic offsprings.
We have to see the election of Narendra Modi in this context. Modi said what every intellectual Hindu minded person in India wanted to say for five decades. When he talked about Gujarati Asmita ( Gujarati honor) , every Hindu minded man in India interprets it as Hindu Asmita (HIndu hornor). Docile Hindu did not want to say anything to hurt anybody but when Modi says what they wanted to say, they silently support him and it is a fact. Condemning Modi does not solve the problem. First central government in viewing the incidents in Gujarat should have performed a balancing act. But can we expect central government to have a balanced view? Especially when they invited millions of Bangladeshis to settle in India and change the demography of Assam and thus creating problem of ULFA.
In modern times Pakistan and Bamgladesh are afflicted by an almost pathological dislike of Hindus and Hinduism. There are extremists in Pakistan and Bangladesh who say that the Hindus should either convert or leave the country and go back to India and in the case of Kashmiri Pundits , should go and leave the valley. All this was few years ago but sordid details of the partition are even now ingrained in youthful minds in the Pakistan, and purposely so. The result is that Pakistanis and Bangladeshis grow up with an imperishable hatred for Hindus. It’s something like th'e Islamic revenge syndrome against the Hindu majority in Indian subcontinent for simply being majority. Congress government over last few decades never made this an issue with their vote bank politics to placate the Muslims while totally ignoring the plight of Hindus of Pakistan and Bangladesh and of course Kashmiri Pundits. Simply they do not have enough votes for Congress to pay attention’. Hindus of Pakistan and Bangladesh are helpless against the powerful Islamic community today if they are not left already, the Muslims of the Pakistan and Bangladesh are equally capable of inflicting any harm on the local Hindus and Sikhs .Let us not forget that it were always the Muslims who invaded India, and that too not for the glory of Islam alone. The three main Holy places of Kashi, Mathura and Ayodhya have mosques next to them, do Muslims have a Hindu temple next to Kaaba? Do Christians have a Hindu temple next to St. Peter's Church, and yet world expects Hindus to live with the humiliation and any voice against status quo is considered as Hindu facism and the word facist with this kind of thinking lost its meaning, thanks to our Comrades. When I saw Modi’s victory on TV, I felt I too was a Gujarati eventhough I was not born as one and never been to Gujarat.
